Nobody Like You

Our spirit, alive with Christ's Spirit is the way that we relate to God and partner with him to fulfill our purpose. There is nobody like you now and there never will be.

Nobody Like You

Our Creator gave us our physical bodies through our mothers. But He makes us alive spiritually through Jesus. Jesus died to forgive our sins, cleanse our hearts from its guilt and shame, destroy the old nature in us that keeps us sinning, and then give us own Spirit as our partner throughout life.

Our spirit, alive with Christ’s Spirit is the way that we relate to God and partner with him to fulfill our purpose. There is nobody like you now and there never will be. For as the saying goes, when God made us, he broke the mold. That’s how unique you are.

The Father made you and I for a purpose and it’s up to us to get close to Jesus so that we can know and understand why we are here. The Apostle Paul writes in his letter to the Ephesians: “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”  Ephesians 2:10 NLT

Remember also these words that Jesus spoke:, “You didn’t choose me but I chose you and appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit…” While it’s true Jesus has chosen us, it’s also true that we were given free will. It’s up to us to respond to his choice of us. Since he knows WHY he made us, he’ll start to reveal that to us little by little as we draw near to him.

Maybe Christ’s spirit within you will whisper a little idea ---- as you step out in faith to try it, you’ll discover another piece of the puzzle of meaning and purpose. And so our life with Jesus goes. We walk together in agreement – listening, obeying, and asking. It’s our relationship with Jesus that matters. He is our mediator with the Father and nothing delights him more than you and I wanting to spend time with him. He has a big universe to develop in this life AND in the next. You and I have a unique part in that. Let’s not miss what we were made for!
